The B&B was situated in a charming location close to a small canal, offering a splendid view of the countryside. It was also conveniently located near various attractions in Friesland, making it easy to explore the area. The room in the converted hay barn was tastefully decorated and had cable TV, providing entertainment during our stay. The hosts were warm and friendly, ensuring a pleasant and comfortable experience. The breakfast served was superb, with homemade peach jam as a delightful finishing touch.
The village where the B&B is located lacks shops and restaurants, which can be inconvenient for those wanting to have more dining options within walking distance.

I had a great and relaxing stay at a private, fully equipped hotel in a beautiful location. The hotel, a historic barn part of a beautiful farm, overlooked the countryside and provided gorgeous sunsets. The central location made it easy to visit the cities, lakes, and attractions in Friesland. The hosts, Zaza and Hein-Willem, were friendly and cute, making me feel at home. I highly recommend this place to family and friends.

We were delighted with the warm welcome from the staff and the lovely Frisian Sugar Bread we received. The hotel was clean and cosy and offered a fantastic view of the countryside. The location was excellent, with easy access to transportation and not too far from places we wanted to visit in Friesland. The breakfast was delicious and served in our room by the friendly staff.
Nothing I didn't like, to be fair.

The breakfast was good quality and the location of the property was handy for exploring the local area. We also liked that there were facilities to make our own meals.
The property was difficult to access as it was situated far from any shops or restaurants, making it necessary to drive to find anything. the room was poorly designed, with narrow and steep stairs leading to the upper level, making it hard to navigate, and there was no nightlight, making it difficult to find our way around in the dark.

The breakfast was delicious and the staff was friendly. Free coffee and tea and a welcome snack were provided. The garden was beautiful with access to a canal for duck feeding and swimming. The flat in the renewed old barn was lovely decorated and the owners were very helpful. The highlight was the terrace overlooking the water with ducks and water lilies.
Nothing, all excellent.

The hosts were incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout our weekend stay. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was delicious and there were many options to choose from. The location was secluded and peaceful, yet still within a short driving distance to local attractions.
The distance to the nearest supermarket was a bit far, making it difficult to grab any forgotten items or snacks. Additionally, the location may not be ideal for those looking for a bustling, busy environment.

Spent Christmas at a charming bed and breakfast in a quaint Frisian village just 20 minutes away from a major cultural city. The house was surrounded by lovely gardens with beautiful views of the fields and canals. The converted barn in which we stayed was cozy and had all the amenities we needed including cable TV. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and the homemade breakfast was superb. Loved the peace and quiet and the perfect location for exploring the surrounding area.
There were a few knocks on the door during our stay that disrupted our privacy. Though not a big deal, it would have been nice to have a bit more space and alone time.
